MIDDLE SCHOOL:
"The Xchange" for Middle School Students--Sundays at 6:00
p.m. (Begins weekly on August 22nd)
XCHANGE – BACK TO SCHOOL KICKOFF
The Xchange will be starting back up on August 22nd! Please
make plans this school year to drop your children off each Sunday
at 5:30 p.m. at NCCC. We want every middle school student there!
We are gonna kick the school year off right! Parents, we could use
your help to encourage your children to attend! We would love for
every student that attends New Community to be a part of the youth
program, as well. Contact Felix with any questions at 823-2214.
HIGH SCHOOL:
"The Highway" for High School Students--Wednesdays at
7:00 p.m.
HIGHWAY – HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
We have many students moving up to high school this year. This will
be a change of schedule for them. Youth group for the high school
students meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at
6:15 p.m. and close at 9:30 p.m. during the school year. We encourage
students to come early and stay late for fellowship. If you have
a student that will be going into high school or a student that
hasn’t gotten plugged in yet, we would love to help get them
connected. We can’t do it without the parents, so we ask for
your help in encouraging your child to come. We have plenty of fellowship,
great worship, and lots of talk about Christ!
HIGH SCHOOL—MOVIE NIGHT
Wednesday, August 4th is movie night. We will be showing the movie
“To Save a Life.” We will show it at the church during
our normal youth group time. Even though it is rated PG-13, we believe
it is a valuable movie for the youth to see. We ask that if you
have any questions about this movie to check out the detailed movie
review at pluggedin.com. If you
wish that your teen opts out, please let Felix know.
